This qualification is designed to enable supervisors, team leaders and frontline managers to develop the skills needed for workplace leadership in a team-based and best practice environment.

 

Certificate IV in Business (Frontline Management) is a nationally recognised qualification for people interested in enhancing their career prospects by developing management skills across a range of competencies. This qualification focuses on the development of people skills, strategic skills and entrepreneurship. Frontline Management brings the fundamentals of management to the workplace thereby increasing its productivity and effectiveness. Our strategy is to involve the group in the concept and key points during learning sessions followed by further learning enhancement and application in the workplace. Further Studies
Successful completions of this qualification enables articulation into the Diploma of Business (Frontline Management) or a range of other qualifications.

 

Entry Requirements
It is preferred that you be employed in a supervisory position or negotiate a mentor/supervisor position in your workplace.

 

Traineeships are available for new or existing part-time and full-time permanent staff who do met the eligibility criteria (contact your local NAC for further details)

 

Traineeship Funding: No user choice funding available for this course. (Refer to your NAC for all details on incentives). 

 

Traineeship trainingthe STS trainer comes to your workplace once every 2 weeks and spends 2 hours with you, doing face to face training.  In between training visits, you work on your workbooks and complete activities and workplace projects.  You have access to your trainer via the internet, phone and fax.

 

Course Duration –              Traineeship: 2 years full time or 4 years part time or school based.

Independent Studies: Austudy Approved 16 weeks full time study

 (all courses are competency based and can be completed earlier if desired)

 

Cost:                                      $2500.00 (payment plans can be negotiated for self funding students)

 

Training Delivery: An individualised training plan is created at the beginning of the training program.  At this time, we will negotiate where, how and when you are going to do the training.
