Candidates must complete 22 units to gain this qualification

(Depending on the specialist steam chosen)

·     12 common core units; plus

·     6 specialist core steam units – Database Administration or Help Desk; plus

·     4 elective units – can be from any other core stream not already selected, and/or, any Information and Communications Technology Training Package (3 may be from Certificate III), and/or any other Training Package.

Traineeships are available for new and existing part-time and full-time permanent staff and existing workers who do met the eligibility criteria (contact your local NAC for further details)

 

Traineeship Funding: User choice funding available through STS.  (Refer to your NAC for all details on incentives).  Tuition fees apply.

 

Traineeship trainingthe STS trainer comes to your workplace once every 2 weeks and spends 2 hours with you, doing face to face training.  In between training visits, you work on your workbooks and complete activities and workplace projects.  You have access to your trainer via the internet, phone and fax.

 

Course Duration    Traineeship – 2 years full time or 4 years part time or school based.

Independent Studies: Austudy Approved 25 weeks full time study

(all courses are competency based and can be completed earlier if desired)

 

Cost:                           $3500.00 (payment plans can be negotiated for self funding students)

This price includes a 12 month subscription to Online Training through Learn Key for A + certification and Microsoft Certification.                

You will be supplied at not cost all of the workbooks, which are required

 

Training Delivery: An individualised training plan is created at the beginning of the training program.  At this time, we will negotiate where, how and when you are going to do the training.
