The course provides the foundation skills for people entering various areas of the information technology industry. It covers the basic setting up and use of computing equipment and a range of applications software selected from word processing, spreadsheet, database, business graphics and illustrative graphics. You will also develop the skills needed to operate successfully in the workplace.

 

To complete this qualification, you must complete the assessment activities for 14 units.
You must do all core units.

 

There are a variety of resources used to complete this course.

1.    STS are now using WEBTRAIN an Online Learning management system, that has both the content and the assessment
        online for your convenience.

2.    If you do not want to work online, we can use alternative text/workbooks with you.

3.    If you are attending class, your trainer will also work with you, to answer any questions.
