Students must complete 14 – 16 units to gain this qualification.  

The 6 units are core and must be completed first

We have also suggested the elective units for you. However, if you have a preference
for another unit, please discuss this with your trainer.

Welcome to your studies – The Certificate III in Information Technology

Note: Several of the units require completion of the Learnkey DVD material. We suggest that before completing any of these units, you complete the 12 sessions for the A+ Certification Core Hardware using the DVD’s provided.
Note: < - learnkey – when you see this message – it indicates that you should be working through the online learning on your set of DVDs which have been supplied to you. You will notice that some of the sessions cover the content for several units, you only need to do cover the content and do the tests once! &: - If you are ready for a new text book to be sent to you, please email your trainer with your request. So even after you have completed all of the units in the course, you can access additional information in the library.
On completion of each unit, you must submit your evidence portfolio to your trainer for marking. The evidence portfolio is created by completion of the activities and self assessment questions and where appropriate the Learnkey tests.
