SUBJECT: RE: HR Survey
I was pleased to read your email regarding your intended survey of HR users at STAR, and I am happy to help out in any way I can.
My only concern is that a considerable amount of my assembly workers in the WA and NSW areas do tend to have either a low level of literacy skills or English is not their first language. How do you intend to get these staff to complete the survey? If they don't understand it, then they are not likely to participate, which would be a shame.
Perhaps we should meet to discuss this further?
Regards,
Al Perez

SUBJECT: RE: HR SURVEY
Basically, my staff are happy with the level of service they receive from HR, and they do not feel that they need to participate in a survey. They are flat out doing what the company expects of them without the disruption of completing what they feel are unnecessary surveys.
Frankly, I have to agree with them; therefore, can you record our unit's official response as `overall happy with the service'.
Regards,
James Bower

SUBJECT: RE: HR Survey
I am generally happy for my staff to participate in your intended HR survey but have some concerns. How are you intending to deliver this survey? Will it be some form of written questionnaire, or will you be using focus groups?
I am in the middle of planning the next quarter's national key sales activities and would like to factor in what you intend to do; however, if you are looking to conduct face-to-face meetings, then that might be too time consuming. As I am sure you're aware, Ben is really putting the pressure on us to increase our targets and perform in preparation for hitting the Asian market. My Area Sales Managers are already dropping a number of their admin functions to meet these targets, and I don't want to saddle them with the responsibility of following up these surveys with their staff.
I would be grateful if you could take this into account in your preparation. Please give me a call if you wish to discuss further.
Regards,
Phil Ayoub

Great to hear you're intending to conduct a survey on HR services. I would like to include this in our report on corporate activities planned and undertaken in the next quarter. Can you please let me know:
I would also be keen to include a copy of your survey instrument in our report . Can you send me a copy as soon as you have finalised it?

Karen Coster
