Thanks for sending me the information about the new positions at STAR. As you know I've got a personal interest in this expansion of our product range. Quality domestic and commercial awnings will raise our profile in this country, and I see them as our key to getting into the Asian market.
I took the liberty of asking my assistant to load these position descriptions and person specifications onto the STAR intranet:
1 x marketing consultant (based in Sydney admin office, travelling nationally)
1 x shift supervisor (WA factory)
1 x assembly line worker (NSW factory, full time)
2 x assembly line workers (WA factory, part time/shift)
I know I can rely on you as my GM Human Resources to make sure this recruitment event meets our business objectives, while ensuring that we meet our organisational and legal obligations.
Also, I'm keen to lift our game at STAR in all parts of our business, so I'd also like you to suggest strategic, long term solutions to any issues or problems that arise during this recruitment event. I'll be very interested in your recommendations about our recruitment processes here at STAR.
