Thanks for your message. My back's still very sore, though some days are better than others. I'm back to work four hours a day, three days a week now, which is more than I was able to do a few weeks ago - so I suppose there's been some improvement.  

Len's been very good about it. I've used up all my sick leave, but he's arranged for me to have a bit of extra leave, so we don't have to manage on less money. The guys at work have been pretty helpful too. I'm just keen to do all I can to get back up to speed.
